The marina was, in July 2023, acquired by Associated British Ports (‘ABP’), which owns the Port of Ipswich including the Wet Dock. ABP took over all of the operations of marina (now Ipswich Beacon marina) with the view to making significant investment in the whole of the Wet Dock.
