The former Neptune Marina was established in 1982 and spearheaded the redevelopment of the unique Ipswich Waterfront.
In July 2023 the marina was acquired by Associated British Ports (‘ABP’), which owns the Port of Ipswich including the Wet Dock. ABP took over all of the operations of the marina (now Ipswich Beacon marina) with the view to making significant investment in the whole of the Wet Dock.
